New Market Stall!
Supporting asylum seekers over dinner through the celebration of food and culture.
We have expanded our Tamil Feasts family! 9 new participants who are all seeking asylum have started a hospitality training program with us at CERES. Each week they are learning new skills, gaining invaluable work experience and making new friends.
Tamil Feasts is a social enterprise that provides employment for recently settled asylum seekers. Each week the team serves traditional Sri Lankan banquet dinners at CERES, located in East Brunswick.
For 8 weeks this Spring, our Tamil Feasts trainees will be holding a Market Stall at the CERES Craft Market. And they are keen to share their food with you.
Our Tamil Feasts Market Stall won’t be like our usual feasts – each week we will be serving up some yummy street food to tantalise the tastebuds. Think dosa’s, freshly made chai and sweet cultural treats.
So come finish off your week, support our new trainees and enjoy a plate of goodness.
